Melanie Davies aged 29 will be opening a dress agency on Shildon Mainstreet mid September selling discounted designer and premium High Street branded clothing at heavily discounted prices.
The nature of the business will be designer label clothing, bags and accessories offered at a much lower price than they cost new. Customers are invited to bring their designer/Premium high-street branded clothing that are “as new” to be sold from the shop and recieve 50% of the agreed sale price,
The shop is to be named ‘Jean Eleanor’s Dress Agency’ after Melanie’s 93 year old Grandmother who is resident at Rose Lodge Care Home in Newton Aycliffe. She was a nurse during the Second World War nursing shell-shocked soldiers back to health.
Melanie began her working life in an office and then as a Market Trader holding stalls at fairs and party planning selling jewellery. She has always been interested in fashion, design, art and culture and lives in Aycliffe with her family.
