On Saturday 15th September 2018 at 2pm Denise Farlow married Andrew Macmillan at St Andrew’s Church in Aycliffe Village.
Denise Farlow is employed as a Waitress/Bar Assistant at Woodham Country Golf Club, whilst Andrew is the Site Superintendent for In-Site Property Solutions.
Best Man for the Groom was Chris Law, who has been a friend of Andrews for over 30 years.
Maid of Honour was Denise’s Sister, Michelle Farlow. Bridesmaids were Denise’s Daughters Stacey Rutter and Alishia Rutter.
The flower girls were Denise’s Granddaughter Amelia and Andrew’s Great Nieces Scarlett and Grace.
Thomas Gittins, Denise’s Grandson did an amazing job as ring bearer.
Ushers were Chris Oxley, Colin Pickering, Colin McNeillie and Trevor Seal.
The reception took place at RAFA Club, Barrington Road, Newton Aycliffe, which Andrew spent 3 months tidying, painting the front entrance and installing planters and provided plants all in his own time with no charge to the club, so it was perfect for the special day.
The couple have not been on a honeymoon as yet, because Denise’s baby Granddaughter Faye, had major heart surgery two days before the wedding. They are looking forward to a honeymoon in the new year.
The couple’s home is Hield Close, Newton Aycliffe.
