Team Warrior TKD hosted their first Taekwondo Competition at Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre on Sunday 3rd June 2018. The North East Open Championships was a great success, with over 200 competitors from all over the Country competing.
Team Warrior TKD recently celebrated their 1st Anniversary and wanted a new challenge by running the only North East Open Competition since 1999, within the British Taekwondo organisation.
With the support of Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre, the six clubs all worked together and feel very proud of what they have achieved in such a short period of time.
The clubs are based in Aycliffe Village, Darlington, Ferryhill, Willington, Stanley, Crook and Northallerton.
