After an 18 year absence, CITIZEN KANE, the Shildon based band who supported the likes of Jools Holland, Rory Gallagher, Jack Bruce and many more, are reforming to raise funds for MacMillan Cancer.
This event at Shildon Civic Hall was spurred on by the care given to guitarist Alan Meadows’ mother, and singer Anthony Roe’s mother who have recently died of cancer. It features the original band, three of which, Ian Halford, Alan Thompson and Rick Lauglin are from Newton Aycliffe.
This gig takes place on Sunday December 2nd. Doors open at 2.30pm. Tickets £7.50 available from Shildon Civic Hall. Support act is guitar virtuoso Matt Marriott with ALL proceeds to MacMillan.
