Dear Sir,
I have been driving for more than two thirds of my life, and one thing I have noticed more than ever is how lazy drivers have become, adopting an ‘I DON’T CARE’ attitude.
There are those who can’t be bothered to indicate, ones who cut corners in and out of junctions and straight over mini roundabouts and this also includes Police Drivers. On Thursday 7th May at approximately 2:15pm I followed a police white Ford Transit Van, and on it’s approach to the roundabout the driver straddled the white line separating the two lanes without indicating. The driver turned right onto Shafto Way, again with no indication to show the vehicle was leaving the roundabout. If the police don’t indicate their intentions, how can we expect other drivers to do so?
Then there are those drivers who can’t be bothered to even walk a few step – parking in front of drives, across drop kerbs, double parking etc. I believe some drivers would if they could, drive their car into the shop, supermarket, school or whatever place they were visiting, so they don’t have to walk. THINK BEFORE YOU PARK.
There are those who want to be at their destination as soon as they start the engine, or don’t allow enough time to get where they want to go by setting off earlier, so end up speeding. Give More Time for Your Journey.
