In reply to John Clare’s letter “Goverment Cut 80% of Regional Funding”. He says that Labour are not to blame but forgets if Labour had not wasted money (Unitary Authority for one- a black hole of debt alone) such prudence would not be needed! As for his statement on the neighbourhood plan no independents have been involved. It is a “Labourhood  Plan”. Why should we thank Phil Wilson for raising issues  – that is what he was elected to do. It does make a change  for him to raise his head above the trench.
