Get ready to experience a completely new attraction launching this summer at 11Arches Park, Bishop Auckland. Following the success of the evening spectacular Kynren – An Epic Tale of England, ranked in Trip Advisor’s ‘Top Five Shows to See in the UK’ you can now visit 11Arches Park by day and enjoy incredible shows, interactive and immersive attractions to suit families of all ages.
A day ticket to 11Arches Park brings family-friendly entertainment including; immersive walk-through The Maze of Fame, the Kids’ Viking Lair, the Dancing Waters show, alongside family favourites including the Animal Croft and the Viking Village. Finally, take your seat at 4pm for the afternoon’s crowning glory, the latest original show ‘Fina and the Golden Cape’ on the panoramic outdoor stage.
In the evening, Kynren – An Epic Tale of England, brings history to life with a blockbuster open-air performance. Great for teens and older families. Two thousand years of history, myth and legend rush by in 90 minutes as we join young Arthur on his epic quest.
Separately ticketed events, 11Arches Park and Kynren take place in Bishop Auckland, a town steeped in history spanning the Romans, generations of powerful Prince Bishops of Durham, a horse-racing tradition and the Industrial Revolution, located just 25 minutes from Durham City and Darlington.
11Arches Park will be open every Saturday from 7-28 August, 12-6pm and from 11.30am-5.30pm on the 4 and 11 September 2021. Kynren shows are every Saturday 6-10pm, 7-28 August and 5.30-10.30pm on the 4 and 11 September 2021.
