Dear Sir,
While on a trip provided by Durham County Council I happened to mention the problem elderly people were having maintaining their gardens now that the landlords “livin” have stopped this service for some residents.
A lady asked for my address and said she would try to get help. That help came from St. Clare’s Church and Alec, a volunteer.
He called at my home on two occasions and worked very hard and the photos above show the result. No payment was required – thanks was enough!
