Once again, in partnership with Livin, we are providing the ‘Hungry Holidays’ programme. Packed lunches and games on the grass will be provided in the West Ward.
This is to help families relieve the extra pressure of having to provide a lunch in the holidays. Junction 7 will be providing a healthy packed lunch for 75 children each day of the school holidays alongside some fun games and crafts.
On Saturday 10th August Junction 7 will be in the town centre Community Shop with other community and resident groups . . . this is an opportunity for you to come and see what we do.
Saturday 17th August we will be in the Community Shop (police shop). This is your opportunity to come along and take a look at the pre-loved school uniforms we have available for FREE – we stock most of Aycliffe school uniforms including trousers, skirts and shirts.
Save the date for Saturday 31st August, as we will be putting on, alongside other partners, a celebration Fun Day which will include Bouncy Castles, Barbecue, Birds of Prey, Aycliffe Radio and lots more. This event will be held in the West Ward and is to celebrate the new look, new name and new management of the Community Centre.
Now is the time for the community to use the building that they have asked for – Junction 7 have and will always be there to help provide the community with what they want as we believe in building communities. Junction 7 will always have a heart for the West Ward of Newton Aycliffe, but now offer a wide range of services for the whole of Newton Aycliffe.
