Last week Junction 7 were able to give out 798 packed lunches as well as activity bags, cooking your own food bags and pumpkins as well as our daily surplus food project.
We held a pumpkin competition, thank you to everyone that entered, thank you to Livin for funding part of this and thank you to GAMP for the funding towards the pumpkins.
Thank you to Horndale School for the food collection they delivered and to Morrisons at Morton Park and North Road, Darlington for their donations, including packed lunches, food for the food bank, carrier bags and their continued support.
Thank you Mandy from The Bay Horse, Middridge for the homemade food and to everyone who dropped off food and cash donations. Thank you to Netty Nettles for decorating and opening her garden for the Pumpkin Trail, from which money and food was donated for the Junction 7 food bank.
A huge thank you to the Junction 7 volunteers who help to put everything together, without the help and support from our communities, we would not be able to do what we do. Every donation goes into helping people, #buildingcommunities
