Another great success with Junction 7 serving the community. The fun day with the long awaited new name for the community house . . . the name chosen by the community, The ARK.
Junction 7 know this will be a new beginning into serving the community with what THEY want. We would like to thank Livin for the amazing partnership we have with them, for the numerous meetings and emails that take place regularly. Communication has been very important.
We would like to thank Andy Coulthard, from Livin, who supported the Fun Day and worked hard along side us all day. Thank you to our brilliant local County Councillors Eddy Adam and Kate Hopper for the funding for the event.
No event would be possible without volunteers and Junction 7 would like to thank the following people for giving up their time to help: Alby Denham, Philip Clark, Kaaren Hendrix, Carol Pain, David Moore, Daniel Robertson, Joanne Howe and Brian Nichol.
We would like to thank George and Jane from ‘Jump for Joy’ who supplied the bouncy castles. Thank you to Police Sergeant Andy Boyd and Abi Hall who came along on their day off.
Thank you to Spitfire Avian Pest Control who brought their amazing birds. Thank you to DFY Party Planning for the face painting and balloon modelling. Thank you to Garry West for being our first aider for the event.
Thank you to Aycliffe Radio, Amy, Carrie, Karl, Ellarae and Paul.
Thank you also to the Foundation of Light, Fire Brigade,
NE First Credit Union, BACA for the bikes they brought to the event.
Junction 7 pulled this event together with lots of hard work but know it is worth it when we see around 300 people turn up at the event to support us and enjoy themselves.
