The ladies of Aycliffe’s “New Friends – New Places” club visited ‘Café Indulgence’ last Sunday. The cafe has just been opened by Newtonian Gail Anderson and was the start of the club’s Monthly Mystery Tour. Everyone commented on the cleanliness, friendliness and the good food.
New Friends New Places called at the Café on the A66 before going on to The Jersey Farm for Sunday Lunch then on to a short stay at Barnard Castle.
From there they where taken to Mains Gill Tea Rooms on the Scotch Corner to Barnard Castle road.
All the Ladies had a fantastic day out and really enjoy their mystery trips on the first Sunday of every month. The cost is just £10 and anyone is welcome. Somewhere for Sunday Lunch is included but paid for by themselves.
The club meets every Tuesday 2pm until 4 pm at The Navy Club Burnhill Way. On the 30th September we have a Top Entertainer/ Artist KEVIN ROYALE Golden Oldies 50’s and 60’s sing along – your memories brought back. ADMISSION £3.00. Bar available.
