Have you registered for the sponsored Community Walk from Aycliffe to Shildon on October 1st at 2pm. Groups such as the Youth Centre Football Team and Athena Gymnast Club have registered and will take the jaunt in their uniforms. Others will be doing likewise, but we need more individuals to sign up, raising money to be shared with the NSPCC and the charity of their choice. It promises to be a super afternoon with free refreshments at the Locomotion Museum, with entertainment and various interesting activities. The walk is 2 miles along  the tarmac path starting at Newton Aycliffe Railway Station – it is then a short walk across the road to the Railway Museum.
