Following recent success at a National Competition, winning a bronze medal, Jazzmyn Loring from Spectrum Roller Skating Club, has been selected for her first international roller skating competition which will be in Paris, France 19th/20th/21st April 2019.
Jazzmyn is nine years old and has skated with Spectrum for almost 5 years. During this time she achieved her first medal in 2017, she has won bronze at The British Championships 2018 and gained gold at Nationals 2018. The club has been established for 5 years and have high hopes for Jazzmyn.
“We were so thrilled when we received the news!” said coach Tracy Stevens. “It is literally a dream come true as Jazzmyn, who from the age of 4, has said her dream is to skate for Great Britain! However, the reality of funding and organising this trip within one month, on top of the training hours, is a huge challenge. We are hoping local people and businesses will get behind our skater and help Jazzmyn to achieve her dream. “
