Seven year old Millie of Crosby Road may have grown the tallest Sunflower in the town at 9 feet high – unless someone out there has done better?
Ken Farrel, her Grandad who lives in Sharp Road has always encouraged his two granddaughters to garden. Millie’s sister Laura is now 20 years old and at Preston University.
Unfortunately at the start of the school holidays Millie was diagnosed with Diabetes and will need to have a permanent Insulin pump fitted to control the disease. She has reacted very bravely to this and we send our love and best wishes to a lovely little girl.
