Innovations, who are a provider of leisure and learning opportunities for vulnerable adults with learning difficulties, have recently held a Harvest Festival themed disco at the Civic Centre in Shildon. Not only did everyone enjoy the disco, donations of food and personal items were brought along. A service user from our Brantwood unit who went along with others to deliver the items to the local Salvation Army told a member of staff “I loved being able to take food for those people who needed it. I really love it and would like to do it again”. Innovations would like to thank all those who donated items which will help local families.
