PCP’s Cancer Champions project are hosting an event to provide useful information to people over the age of 60. The event will take place at Newton Aycliffe Youth Centre 11am-2pm on Wednesday 30 April.
Attendees will get the chance to visit information stalls and chat about services that are available to them or that they may need in the future. Free soup and bread rolls will also be on offer to everyone who attends.
Confirmed services having information stalls include Care Connect, Durham Equipment Service, Stroke Association, Durham County Carers, Macular Society, Welfare Champions, Healthwatch, PCP, Cancer Champions and MacMillan Cancer Information and Support.
The Cancer Champions project forms part of County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust’s Talking About Cancer Service.
