Infinity Dance Company are recruiting new starters ready for September. The School expanded classes earlier this year to allow room in their forever maxed out classes. Already spaces are filling up fast for September with the Street Classes being the most popular! IDC run 22 classes a week in a range of styles for all ages and abilities. Whether you just want to dance for fun, make new friends or take things more seriously this Dance School has it all!
IDC offer endless opportunities from Shows & Performances to Competitions, Exams and Workshops.
Dance School Owner Emily Henderson says “Its important to me to ensure all of our dancers at IDC are given experiences that will not only help them develop as dancers but as young people too. The confidence, drive and ambition we see in our dancers at IDC comes from the opportunities they get each year to push themselves further whether that’s in a show, competition or exams we are constantly seeing amazing progression”.
Infinity Dance Company have been going just over 3 years now and continue to grow bigger and bigger, building an incredible reputation. 130 students, 22 classes & a team of 5 wonderful teachers, the school offers a warm, friendly and welcoming environment for all!
Teacher Naomi Downing says “I love working at IDC it really is one big family and to see the development in the school over the past 3 years is amazing. We’ve achieved so much this year already we had our 2nd successful School Show, our lyrical, tap and acro dancers competed for the first time, We’ve performed at the Gala Theatre and Aycliffe Festival as well as taking our UDO Street Exams and that’s all in 6 months! We decided to take a few months off from the street competitions this year so we could focus on training our crews, we’ve got two big competitions coming up so it’s time to get to work on that! We are also planning our very own competition, open to all schools, ages, styles and abilities which will take place next year so its all go at IDC!”

Learn the different styles and foundations of Street Dance from hip hop & house to popping, locking and breaking or join one of our tap classes for a more traditional style of dance or why not give our stretch and technique class a go to improve those turns and get into those splits! Whatever class you fancy we have something for everyone!
Lastly Infinity Dance Company would like to congratulate the 65 dancers who took part in their UDO Street Exams this month for achieving exceptional marks with 6 passes, 38 merits and 21 Distinctions. Emily and the rest of the team are incredibly proud.
