Ineos Golf Club faced a formidable opposition and previous winners Heworth Golf Glub in the Clark Cup last weekend at Haughton-le-Spring Golf Club.
Although beaten 4 – 1 they put up a brave effort and did themselves proud. The five man team included brothers Michael and Stephen Howlett, Sam and Liam Telford and last but not least Shaun Collier who is the most experienced player and head Green Keeper at Ineos Golf Club.
Captain Pat Montgomery was extremely proud of the players and thanked everyone involved in getting this far. He would also like to thank the organisers and supporters who made the day a one to remember.
