Joanne Dunn Finance Wellbeing Manager for Livin will be talking about changes to benefits from October when payments will change to the Universal Credit.
If you have any concerns about Benefit changes or are having difficulty dealing with changes come along and seek help, there is help out there C.A.B. and Christians Against Poverty are excellent at sorting out money problems.
We will discuss projects for the coming year, start planning a Community Fun day in conjunction with Aycliffe Nursing Home. Police, Councillors, Wardens and representatives from Livin will be in attendance to answer any queries or concerns you have. This is an ideal opportunity to express your thoughts good or bad. People in authority can only help make changes if we talk to them and give the information needed to improve our neighbourhoods.
It’s hard to believe but the Association has been running for a year in October and we will be holding our AGM at the October meeting reviewing the past 12 months.
Looking forward to seeing you, Philip Clark
