Thank you for publishing Central Coaches timetable for the new route last week, it will hopefully help us find more passengers for the bus.
A letter last week from one of our elected representatives on the Town Council remarked on the times the bus runs, saying there was inadequate time for shopping etc.
I haven’t seen the same criticism of the other town service bus, which has identical start and stop times. This service is operated by JSB travel and has been going for over 14 years.
He also remarked on our lack of market research. If the Councillor had bothered to go to any of the three public meetings, he would have found out that there was a need for a service at the western part of the town.
On the news that Arriva are now rerouting their buses round Greenfield in March, I’m now looking for another part of the town that wants and would use a reliable service. Possible areas could be Bluebell Way and Woodham.
