Helen Ann Metcalfe and David Thornton were married on Sunday 9th September 2012 at 2.30pm at the Morritt Arms, Greta Bridge, Barnard Castle. The couple got engaged earlier in the year and decided to marry on Helen’s Birthday. Helen’s sister Sharon Metcalfe was Bridesmaid, David’s brother Steven Thornton was Best Man and David’s son Samuel Thornton was Ring Bearer.
The Bride and Groom said it was the best day of their lives, shared with close friends and family in the most beautiful of settings!!
The couple honeymooned in Turkey for one week returning to begin their married life together in Newton Aycliffe.
