Honest John opened his new shop on Wednesday 5th September at 10am. The new Shop is located at Unit 29, Durham Way South, DL5 6ZF. It is very large and very spacious, different and interesting. Customers and donors, old and new, are very welcome.
Only one person offered me a new home for the charity and that was George from The Agnew Centre but unfortunately it was too small, so thank you again for trying to help me out.
I must thank all of those residents who offered to help me move from DISC and transport in their vehicles:
Ray Mackinley (NASSL)
Bert and Paul, John and Paul (More-Time)
Les Travers, Karin, and Paul Howarth (Newton News)
3M’s for supplying me with loads of free boxes, Maureen and Valerie and everyone who brought newspapers and packaging etc.
Finally, on moving day, Acorn Removals who did a fantastic job for me, truly professional. So, if anyone is thinking about any kind of removals I certainly do recommend Tony at Acorn Removals and for odd jobs, Dave The Handyman, both of Newton Aycliffe.
