Honest John thanks all those who applied for the Christmas hand out from his Community Kitty and the successful applicants below received £1000 each. “Special thanks to DISC, my assistant Val, donors and customers and may you have a very Happy New Year” said John. The Street Collection on Christmas Eve by Val and John raised £360 which was well worth the effort and they had a great time. They thank Karin and Gary for the scrumptious hot pies and roast chestnuts and all who kindly donated. Thanks also to the Women’s Institute for their gift of a Christmas Cake and massive hamper – already half consumed!
