The latest donations from Honest John include:
• £600 to the Great Aycliffe Red Box Project.
• £1000 to the National Animal Sanctuaries Support League.
During April, next in line is the Darlington & Bishop Auckland Scanner Appeal (MRI). This is in memory of a great man, who brought the scanner appeal to the attention of the people of Great Aycliffe, Mr Syd Howarth, MBE. Thank you for everything Syd.
As the Seekers once upon a time did sing, “I know there’ll never be another you.” It must have been dedicated to you Syd, RIP.
