It’s been quite a week here, very busy but all finders of hedgehogs that they brought in for me to overwinter can be rest assured that they are all here and doing well. Poor Holly has had it very rough though recently, she has suffered from every killer parasite burden going, including ear mites, she is responding well to antibiotics and also some drops for her ears, bless her, she seems happier and more settled now.
All of the things I do for these little hogs has been made possible because of your help, June and Valerie, everyone who has made donations, thank you Kathy, much appreciated and a thank you to Angela and co of Grange Vets for obtaining antibiotics and pain relief for my hedgehog medicine cabinet.
I avoid asking for donations because I find it very difficult, it makes me feel uncomfortable so I don’t ask but I will accept help whenever offered, I like to work to bring in the food etc.
The Easter raffle tickets are still on sale, what I plan to do is draw the winners when I am recovering from my surgery in four weeks time so, please, your support is invaluable until I am back on my feet.
Some hedgehogs will be hibernating still, what is a worry is the state they may be in when they finally wake up, they will be very hungry.
