In May this year, local branch of Hewitts Solicitors took part in the Butterwick Hospice at Bishop Auckland’s Will’s Month, ultimately contributing to the continuance of the care we can offer to people living in our community with a life-limiting illness.
Hewitts took part by giving their time and expertise to help raise funds for Butterwick Hospice at Bishop Auckland, which offers a wide range services including care at home which is essential to our patients who live in the more rural areas that we cover.
Wills were drafted for a special fee of £75 which was donated to Butterwick Hospice. £1665 was raised. Fundraiser and Wills Month organizer Laura Douthwaite said; “It is great that Hewitts got on board with Wills Month and they have raised a fantastic amount for Butterwick Hospice.
We look forward to building this relationship further. ” Further Wills Months will be hosted in March 2015.
