Lifeline Community Action is a Christian registered charity and is looking to support people in genuine need in our local area. One of the things the charity is able to do is the ‘Helping Hands’ project developed to support people in crisis living in the Newton Aycliffe and surrounding areas of County Durham.
It is inspired by God’s love who are deeply moved by the poor, the marginalized and the oppressed to give them hope. We are non-judgemental and help people, of all faiths and those who are in genuine need. We provide urgent, practical and effective assistance where need is great, tackling the effects of hardship.
Helping Hands supports people through the provision of basic household goods. Our dedicated volunteers get these supplies to those who desperately need it. If you are struggling at the moment why not contact Alwyn M: 07936 431262 who will make an appointment for you. The appointment can take up to 30 minutes because we also want to establish how we may be able to help in the future.
