Dear Sir,
Ava is the most caring and thoughtful girl and is always trying to help others, as well as animals. She lives in Newton Aycliffe with her Mam, Dad and Sister Lola, Ava attends Vane Road Primary School.
When she was five years old she came up with an idea, on her own, that she wanted to raise money for the homeless as she didn’t want them to be cold and hungry. Tesco ended up donating sleeping bags and she collected various other donations.
Ava has always been a massive lover of animals, ever since I can remember, especially dogs. Recently, Ava started saving her pocket money to buy dog treats and dog toys to donate to a dog shelter, instead of buying anything for herself. Also going through her own soft toys at home to donate as well.
Then Ava thought to do it on a bigger scale and wanted to try and get donations from other people, ready in time for Christmas, to give to the doggies at the Dog Trust, Sadberge.
I helped by contacting Dogs Trust and asked what type of items they were in need of, Ava made a poster and asked if I would post it on social media for people to see and raise more awareness.
Ava has already received loads of donations through the post and is over the moon that she can help the dogs at Christmas time.
We have an Amazon wish list account with items that the Dogs Trust have said they need and that link is:
