Volunteering at the local FOODBANK is another way the Parish Youth show their ministry in the community. Helping to restock shelves, weigh in donated food, bag up individual supplies and serving refreshments are just some of the ways they helped.
We then talked about our morning in Middlesbrough at the Knife Angel and how we realised that even though the monument was in another town that our town too has to be mindful of the danger and effects of knife crime and that we have a shared responsibility in educating and supporting Young People.
Flowers and prayers were then laid at OUR towns memorial statue in a mark of support to the Knife Angel Project.
