The staff, Parents/Carers and Children were beaming with pride as they received their latest inspection report.
Ofsted reported that within the Pre-School the “teaching is inspirational” and that “the staff are excellent role models”.
They also reported that “The children show overwhelming levels of respect and consideration for each other” and that “they show readiness for starting School earlier than expected as they are resilient and well prepared”.
Heighington Pre-School, established in 1999 is run in the Village Hall. The Pre-School is open 5 mornings a week during term time from 9.00am until 12.00pm. The Pre-School provides 15 weekly funded hours of early education places for children aged between 3 and 4 and currently has some availability.
Staff members are Helen Lyon, Shirley Irvin, Claire Coates, Lisa Clark and Ruth Ashlee.
