I invite residents to a Drop in consultation session on the 4th December at Heighington Village Hall. Council Officers will be displaying a draft spatial plan for Heighington Village at this venue between 3pm – 7pm and will be available to answer any questions.
If you are unable to attend, the draft plan and supporting information will be displayed on DBC website at https://microsites.darlington.gov.uk/local-plan/ on the 4th December. DBC will be welcoming views and comments on the draft plan for a 5 week period between 4th December 2017 and 8th January 2018. Details of how to comment will be displayed on the Council’s website.
Durham Constabulary Brass Band have agreed to give a Christmas Concert in the Village Hall on Saturday December 9th at 7pm. Admission is £12.50 which includes mulled wine and a seasonal buffet. This will be a lovely festive affair for everyone to enjoy so come along to start your Christmas off in a true village traditional manner.
