Heighington entertained Billingham Juniors this week on Remembrance Sunday proudly wearing their poppies. Both sides conducted the Minutes silence perfectly, so well done both Teams.
Alex started in Goal with Kyleo and Liam at the back Tyler in a Free Role and Kenzi up top.
Heighington Pressed from the front superbly well. This tactic was creating chance after chance, but Heighington saw the visiting keeper in inspired form. However Tyler opened the scoring to make it 1-0. Then after a Billingham player handled it on the left touchline just in front of half way. Kyleo stepped up and whipped in a superb delivery which Kenzi rose highest to glance in with his head HT 2-0
Second half Heighington went up another gear and 2 quick goals from Kyleo and Kenzi put Heighington 4-0 up before Kyleo smashed in his 2nd and Heighington’s 5th before getting his 11th Hat Trick in Heighington colours. Double trouble Archie and Zane were introduced with 10 Minutes to go and The former banged in a quick fire brace FT 8-0
The second game was 6 a side saw louie go in Goal with Kieran and Alex at the back, Maddix in a free role and Zane and Archie up top. Heighington went 1-0 down to a great finish from their number 4. However Maddix flipped the game on its head with a quick fire brace. Zane then scored his 7th Goal of the season. HT 3-1
Heighington rung the changes with Liam, Kyleo, Kenzi, and Tyler all getting run outs in this game. Heighington kept dominating although Louie did have to make a good save from distance. Heighington were in control and Liam then got in on the act finishing superbly in the top corner from a tight angle.
MOTM from the opposition was awarded to Kenzi, 2nd game was Maddix and Player of the Day went to Liam
