Aycliffe’s fast lad Harrison Dunn made more progress at Rowrah circuit in Cumbria last weekend.
Driving the circuit for only the second time, Harrison drove all day to notch up a great number of laps and smashed his personal best laptime in the process!
“He’s really making progress every time now” said Mam Amanda, an ex-champion driver herself who is overseeing his progress. “He’s listening well to the advice given and his lines and technique just keep on improving. But the most important thing for me is he’s enjoying it and keeping up that enthusiasm which is so important at a young age. For Harrison, at only 5 years old, it’s so much more than just driving around the track at high speed – it’s about spending time with and meeting new friends, having to make decisions and judgements, being disciplined and many other aspects that are involved at a race weekend. We’re all very proud of him!”
He will next be testing at Teesside in 3 weeks time.
