Jessica Butterworth a student at Woodham Academy received a number of certificates for achievement at the recent Year 9 Celebration Evening.
She received awards for exceptional academic achievement, excellent behaviour, and 100% attendance. She also won the Year 9 Teacher’s Trophy for Art.
Her Mam, brother Matthew and Grandma and Grandad are all so proud of her hard work, especially since she also attends weekly Karate lessons on top of her school work and is already a black belt aged 14!
Jessica has attended the school Cooking Club since Year 7 and aspires to be a professional chef one day, specialising in patisserie, hoping to own her own bakery. With such dedication she will be well on her way to achieving this goal.
