Proceeds to Benefit Local Charities
The Rotary Club of Newton Aycliffe hold their annual Charity Golf Day at the Woodham course on Friday 11th September. This year the new owners, Hall Construction, have generously sponsored the event which is in aid of local charities including Great Aycliffe Community Aid Partnership.
Over the past 12 months Woodham Golf and Country Club under new management have really set standards high. Not only is their course getting great feedback from members and visitors, the food and beverage side is fast gaining ‘foodie’ followers.
The Greens staff have been working hard over the Summer months to ensure that the course has been in immaculate condition. The owners are very proud of what has been achieved up to now and would like to thank everyone for their very kind comments and support.
The planning application for housing on the course will be submitted early September and hopefully, with approval, works will start mid 2016.
