Trimmers Hair Salon at Bishop Auckland are holding an event for staff and guests designed to encourage apprenticeships and those interested in their personal development.
Three inspirational speakers will talk on issues affecting modern Britain including communication skills and the effect of smart phones, Ipads and social media are having on our lives.
The session from 11am – 2pm will also raise awareness on the necessity for training, learning basic skills, health, deportment and the ability to make polite conversation with strangers. All these attributes will help young people win jobs, business contacts, University places, and above all gain confidence.
These life skill programmes are used by Trimmers Salon when training apprentices. They also cover holistic treatment, how to deal with anxiety, headaches, mood swings etc., rather than resorting to medication and alcohol.
A study of the science of colour co-ordination is also important in the Salon which can save time and money when choosing your wardrobe. Anyone interested in attending the session should contact Jean on 01388 602001 or 602087.
