The Bright Water walking group invites readers to join them on local walks. The first walk starts at Aycliffe Village and takes in Heworth and Preston le Skerne deserted medieval villages (5.5 miles).
This walk starts at 1:30pm on Sunday 21st May.
The second walk starts at the Oakleaf sports complex and is the Great Aycliffe Way walk (6 miles). This walk starts at 11am on Sunday 25th June.
Both walks are free of charge to attend, dog and children are welcome and they will be led by Great Aycliffe Town Councillor Ian Gray.
