Greenfield Arts are working together with Greenfield Community College to bring Unfolding Theatre’s Multiverse Arcade to the school.
This installation puts the future in your hands through an interactive arcade unit. It asks us to think about the future we want, what change we see happening and how life might be in 2066. Greenfield are delighted to be hosting such an innovative and useful learning tool which has recently been touring as part of the Great Exhibition of the North.
Students will have the chance to raise important issues and reflect upon the future and the impact they can make. They will also have the chance to feedback to members of the community including local councillors, politicians and delegates from local business.
Katy Milne, Director of Arts and Creativity, is leading the project and has been encouraging students to have a strong voice, think about contemporary issues and create a platform for debate. Katy has recently been shortlisted for a National Award through the Creative Learning Guild and is a strong advocate of creative learning.
Staff at Greenfield are looking forward to the positive learning opportunities that will impact upon the overall learning experience for students.
