Karl Stephenson, Level 2 Rugby League Development Coach, trains Greenfields KS3 girls  every Tuesday FREE. This is organised through Sedgefield School Sports Partnership and the sessions have been well supported and very effective. Greenfield’s Year 9 girls beat Durham Community Business College 36 – 8 last week  to qualify for the U14 County Finals, which take place  on Tuesday 19th March. Well done and good luck. Many of the girls were introduced to rugby in their Primary Schools  again through Sedgefield SSP, and have continued their interest since attending Greenfield. The Year 9 Team includes Nicole Ward,  Georgia Heads, Britney Cooke, Samantha North, Ellie Stevens, Amber Peake, Jamie Leigh McConville, Emily Gough, Amber Dolby, Elle Dewar and Laura Stewart.
