Greenfield Yr 7, 8 & 9 rowing teams travelled to Woodham on Wednesday 14th November to take part in the Sedgefield Rowing Championships. Some fantastic individual performances meant Greenfield finished in first place – and were crowned Sedgefield KS3 Champions.
The following Greenfield students produced some fantastic performances and finished in the top 4 and will go forward to represent Sedgefield in the County Championships later this year.
Danielle Ord achieved a personal best and finished 1st, and Christina Shodunke also achieved a personal best and finished a close 2nd to Danielle in the Yr 7 girls event.
George Scaife achieved a personal best and finished 2nd, and Matthew Davis achieved a personal best to finish a close 3rd in the yr 7 boys event. In yr 8 Sam Dawson finished 2nd in the yr 8 boys event.
Becky Adams and Madalyn Pateman Patrick both achieved personal best scores to finish 2nd and 3rd in their event. In yr 9 Stewart McCaffrey finished 1st in the yr 9 boys event and Rubi Alderson achieved a personal best to finish in 2nd place in the yr 9 girls event.
