Greenfield Arts are thrilled to have been chosen as a venue for an inspirational one-day conference which forms part of an exciting initiative being led by Writer’s Block North East. The conference, which includes workshops and guest speakers will be held in the creatively designed Studio 2. Writer’s Block have selected a group of up-and-coming writers to take part in a nine month development programme where they will benefit from one-to-one mentoring, workshops and expert advice leading to the opportunity to showcase their talents to literary agents and industry professionals. Greenfield Arts are delighted to play a part in such an innovative venture and are looking forward to hosting what should prove to be an enjoyable and fruitful day.
The is the second year that Greenfield Arts has been chosen for the Conference, Laura Degnan, Director of Writer’s Block is also looking forward to returning to the venue “The conference room is large, bright and spacious and suited our needs perfectly. It’s quiet and private, with good facilities” said Laura. Greenfield has also been nurturing their own budding authors through their popular creative writing masterclass. The next session, which is led by respected author John Dean will be held on Thursday 15th June from 6 pm – 8 pm and costs just £5, why not come along and learn how to create characters, plot stories and embark on your very own novel!
