Dear Sir,
Great Aycliffe Tidy Team continue their weekly litter pick, most recently in and around the Aycliffe Nature Reserve and Great Aycliffe Way.
An old shopping trolley, half the front of a car wing and numerous tins were our highlights.
We are, as ever, cheered on and encouraged by group mascot ‘Tidy Ted’ and I managed to lose my net trying to fish rubbish out the pond.
Thanks to Great Aycliffe Town Council for collecting our loads, it is much appreciated.
