May I through the Newton News thank all the Independent voters that voted for me at the recent elections. 445 for the County Council and 460 for the Town Council which was a good average for an Independent!
I did not manage to be elected to the County Council but I did come third! I am elected back on to Great Aycliffe Town Council for another four years.
May I thank you all for your loyal support and I will be devoting my time to the people of the West Ward as I have done for the past 23 years – serving you and not a Party,
