On Monday, Mayor Barbara Clare welcomed Rob Caygill to the Great Aycliffe Town Council offices to thank him for submitting his scene of Aycliffe-in-winter, which she used on her civic Christmas card. Barbara said: ‘We have a town which is environmentally excellent, and I wanted to be able to boast about it when I sent my card to the other civic dignitaries in the County. Rob’s photo of the Nature Reserve was stunningly beautiful.’
