Great Aycliffe & Middridge Partnership has a public representative vacancy on the partnership board.
This is an exciting opportunity for a local resident from the partnership area (Great Aycliffe and Middridge) with a keen interest in the local community, to join a dynamic and proactive board who have successfully delivered a number of projects throughout the area since our formation in 2009.
The public representative role itself isn’t onerous; in terms of time commitments, there’s a requirement to attend a board meeting every two months, and preferably to have input to at least one of our Subgroups if you can, but really it’s about sharing your valuable local knowledge and being passionate about your community – helping to make a difference in our area. Some meetings will potentially take place ‘virtually’ in future, so you should ideally have access to relevant IT equipment.
To become a public representative on the board you must live, work, volunteer or study within the partnership area, and you must be over the age of 16.
Brian Riley, GAMP Coordinator, said; “The work of the partnership is driven by the support and enthusiasm of the Board. The public representative vacancy represents a good opportunity to become directly involved and make a difference in our local community.”
