Woodham Community Centre hosted an informal event to discuss young people’s views to be considered by GAMP in their support to the community.
Great Aycliffe and Middridge Area Action Partnership had previously funded a report that liaised and consulted with young people in our area over key issues identified as their priorities.
The event allowed parties who work or are involved with young people to look at ways to help tackle these issues in future planning.
Areas of concern considered included activities for young people, Support for the community and voluntary sector, including older people. Employment, Enterprise, Education and Training.
GAMP is encouraging more partnership working in the town and the meeting was thought to be very worthwhile.
