Children, young people and their families are having a great Easter holiday taking part in a range of activities from a choice of more than 50 sessions advertised in the Easter Activities booklet which has been produced by the Great Aycliffe and Middridge Partnership (GAMP) Children & Young People’s Network. Designed and printed by Newton Press and delivered to every household in the GAMP Area Action Partnership (AAP) area with the Newton News, the activity information is delivered straight to the heart of the community.
The network, which is funded by Great Aycliffe and Middridge Partnership AAP and co-ordinated by Success (North East), is bringing together activity providers to publicise activities for children & young people, carry out joint planning and identify local issues or gaps. The network has been running since September 2015 and has over 100 people signed up to the e-network from local clubs and activity providers. The network is free to join and is a great opportunity for members, who share a common desire to improve outcomes for children, young people and their families in the GAMP area, to work together.
