GACAP are happy within their new home at The Big Club, the venue is ace for their needs. The trustees have been working together behind the scenes and things are falling into place. The plans they have are coming together. One of the members of the club is looking to raise funds for a tricycle for a young girl with Cerebral Palsy. The trustees at GACAP have pledged to support the campaign which hits right to the heart of what GACAP stand for.
Meetings have been held with Paul at the Newton News in respect of the rebranding including a name change and a new logo. Syd Howarth MBE who is the President and Founder of GACAP agrees it is time to refocus on his original idea of having a one stop shop for the good people of our town who have found themselves in need of support and guidance to come to for help, support and guidance.
GACAP will be holding what could be the last partners meeting before their relaunch. The meeting will take place in the Big Club with registration taking place at 3.45pm.
There will be two speakers at the meeting Kate Burrows from Durham Community Action, DCA and Rachel Clarke, Health Visitor.
