The Jason Steel Football Academy was established back in September with support from Education Enterprise and Woodham Academy, the goalkeepers previous school.
The emphasis is always on fun and enjoyment while still being educational. The children will learn how to play football, while also improving their social and communication skills.
Jason Steele Football Academy runs every Tuesday term time and is split into two age groups; 4-7 year olds 5-6pm and 8-11 year olds 6-7pm. The focus on the younger age group is to develop football skills through a FUNdamental coaching style.
For the older group the focus is to improve all aspects of the child’s knowledge of the game and improving basic football skills.
Prizes and gifts can be won throughout the programme for the children that excel in not only the football side of it but there behaviour as well. Last term one lucky boy was awarded with a signed England shirt of Jason himself.
All children are invited to attend the Jason Steel Football Academy and we would love to see some new faces.
